Sellers – REFN has direct relationships with one of the world's largest gold banks and also with a refinery in Spain. The bank purchases only refined metal (silver, gold, platinum and palladium) under very simple and secure terms. The refinery purchases a variety of metal in all forms.
Gold Bank Procedures – Very simple
and secure. Open both a bullion account and bank account.
Move a portion or all of your metal into your vault. The
bank will assay it at no cost and make an offer to purchase
it. Accept their offer, they put cash in your account and
move the metal into their vaults. To begin the process the
actual owner of the metal must speak with an officer of
the bank.
Refinery Procedures – A quote from
one of the principals, “We are more interested in
building relationships than concluding a spot purchase.”
They will contract for a percentage of, or your entire production
schedule. They work with all forms of metal as they have
the facilities to refine it, and will consider bullion as
well. A dialog between the owner of the metal and the owner
of the refinery will be required to work out initial terms.
Upon acceptance of terms, the owner of the metal will receive
an invitation to visit the refinery and to meet the other
owners. Bring a small sample of your product. It will be
assayed and they will make an offer. If acceptable your
sample will be purchased and contracts will be finalized
for future production.
Note: Both an officer of the bank and principle of the refinery require an initial conversation with the actual seller to proceed. Please be certain you can arrange this.
From time to time we get requests for other items (coal,
copper, sugar, etc.). Some sources we are direct to and
some we are not, however we will not work on a project without
the ability to get both sides communicating directly. If
you are direct to the buyers or sellers of such items (or
